We offer free assistance with essential administration tasks for VPS and dedicated servers that have a supported control panel installed. This helps you quickly launch your project and handle common initial setup needs.

Scope of basic server management

1. Initial OS Installation: Setup of the operating system on the server (for VPS, the OS is always deployed from the client-selected template at no extra charge).
2. Password Recovery: Resetting the administrative/root password for Linux-based VPS and dedicated servers.
3. IP Management: Adding and configuring additional IP addresses on the server.
4. Backup Configuration: Setting up backup routines, including remote storage destinations (provided additional space is purchased on our backup server).
5. Software Deployment: Installing standard PHP modules and other common software packages.
6. Package Management: Installing standard software from official repositories.
7. System Updates: Updating the operating system within the current major version and package base.
8. PHP Module Installation: Installing popular PHP modules directly from the repository.
9. Performance Optimization: Basic server tuning and optimization based on your project’s specific load requirements.
10. Website Migration: Free migration of up to 10 websites per order.
11. Security/Firewall: Basic firewall (iptables) configuration using a set of standard static rules.

Service policies & conditions

• Supported Panels: Free basic management is available exclusively for servers with one of the following control panels installed: HestiaCP or BeAdmin on Ubuntu 22.04 / 24.04.
• End-User Policy: Support services are provided only to direct customers who do not resell hosting or offer services to third parties.
• Third-Party Conflicts: Fornex Hosting S.L. reserves the right to decline management services if the initial server setup was performed by third-party administrators.
• Liability: Fornex Hosting S.L. provides basic management on an "as-is" basis with no guarantees.
• Service Discretion: Fornex Hosting S.L. reserves the right to refuse any work without prior explanation.
